A common complaint in the Gran Turismo community is the lack of race cars in content updates for GT7. But this month will be different : Polyphony Digital is set to release 4 new race cars in the upcoming update on June 11th. Perfectly timed right before the 24h of Le Mans, Gran Turismo will feature top machines from the highest sports cars class in activity : Hypercars.
The Ferrari 499P, Porsche 963, BMW M Hybrid V8 and the Peugeot 9X8 Evo will join the Toyota GR010, which was feeling lonely in the game's Gr.1 class. Looking at what Polyphony has done with race cars in Gran Turismo recently, we can expect different evolutions of aero kits to be available to purchase in GT Auto. Fans of the wingless version of the Peugeot, keep your hopes up !
In addition, the update will also feature the most recent Porsche 911 Turbo S in a safety car variant. We don't know yet if other features will be pushed with this update yet, so stay tuned !
