After releasing a special edition aesthetic kit for Nacon's Revosim Pure ecosystem, Aston Martin seems to have partnered with Simagic to release a fully fledged replica simracing rim, in the form of the Valkyrie road going version's steering wheel. This is the first time Simagic associates with an automotive brand to launch new hardware.
The product was discovered through a recent patent filing, citing specifications and featuring phtoso and plans. The rim features a 320mm diameter, a weight of 1718g, premium materials (carbon fiber, magnesium, aluminium and alcantara), 8 RGB buttons, 2 five-way switches, 2 sets of paddles (shifter and clutch) a tactile switch, and WiFi connectivity.
Pricing remains to be discovered at this stage, but we can expect the licensing and material costs to make this the most expensive rim in Simagic's ecosystem so far.
