Let's begin our reports from the 2026 SimExpo by looking at Asetek. While the danish company showed up with a very modest booth this year, they brought an interesting new rim : the GT Nova, aiming at the entry level market at 300€.
To compete against the likes of the GT Neo or KS Pro, the GT Nova features a small OLED display, 13 buttons, 2 thumb encoders, 2 funky switches, 2 rotaries (left being used to assign settings, right to adjust them). With a 290mm size, and new exchangeable handles, Asetek offers good ergonomics with this new rim that will work both as a GT and Formula wheel. Note however that the Nova doesn't ship with clutch paddles by default, sold separately as well as a 3rd set of input paddles. The material, similarly to the competition at this price point, is a fiberglass reinforced polymer, bringing the unit's weight to 1450g. Release is planned for March 2027.
Asetek also brought a new wheelbase, the DD10, which as the name indicates is a 10 Nm base - which can be upgraded to 14 Nm, and will release at the end of the month for a price of 420€ before taxes.
