Conspit, the rising chinese simracing manufacturer, came to the expo with a bunch of new accessories.
First off, the H Apex handbrake caught our eye with its ultra compact design, making it easy to integrate next to a shifter. The unit borrows its hydraulics from the Apex brake pedal, with adjusted elastomers and fluid pressure. At 150€, it's priced very competitively considering the features on offer.
Another new item, the 280 FR, a dedicated formula style steering wheel. We really liked its ergonomics and design and the quality of the buttons and carbon finish feel great for its 360€ price tag. The shifting paddles are true F1 style, as you can pull to upshift, and push to downshift on both sides.
Finally, a new technology to be available in Europe, Conspit offers a ventilated seat, the GT Vent, at a MSRP of 460€. It features 2 fans, extracting the air behind seat to get rid of the trapped hot air stuck between your back and the shell, instead of blowing air on you. The seat itself is otherwise good looking and rigid, making it a really interesting proposal and not just a gadget.
